The most ticks the prediction runs on the server's guess at once (Predictor.guess, Predictor.catchUp): a quarter of a second of them, beyond the frame's own three and its backlog of three, so a stall of up to 350 ms costs no correction; a longer one (a tab in the background) is put right by the next snapshot.
