The kit gallery (?kit-gallery), for seeing by eye everything a game can be built of through the MCP server: no server, no level, rows on a plain floor, each thing labelled.
- The kits a level spec's generators place (
downtown, civic, landmarks, city, compound, street, served beside the page underkits/): every building, by the archetype a district's mix names and its variant, its upper floors with it; every prop and structure; as the game draws them. - The region's tiles (
@foi/catalogue, the same code that builds a region): the seven terrain shapes, a tile each; every feature on a small region of its own, its water or lava with it; a mountain in each biome. - The road classes, a dirt track to a highway, painted as the game paints them.
A building one walks into shows its inside: what its anchors put there in a level (a flight of stairs or an escalator, a lift's platform and the shaft it rides up, a ladder, a shop's counter, a door, a container, a camera, a vehicle's bay, a spawn) drawn where they stand, and its named places (an atrium, a manager's office) as pins with their names. [ takes the top storey off every such building (its upper floors are parts of their own: the landmarks', the bank's), with what stands on it, down to the ground floor; ] puts them back.
The camera goes anywhere (gallery-camera.ts: W A S D pan, the wheel zooms, the mouse orbits, its speed on the panel's slider), first over the whole or over what the address names: a section (buildings, props, terrain, features, biomes, roads), a kit (?kit-gallery=civic) or a thing (=volcano, =highway, =bank, =bld-bank-a); 1–3 set its height and F goes back there. The panel (gallery-ui.ts) finds a thing by its name, goes to a section or a kit and maps the whole. The labels shown are those of the nearest things big enough on the screen to read, 150 at most. window.__kitGallery() tells the end-to-end tests what is shown and where it stands on the page.
