The level's water and lava as the game draws them: a flat sheet over each surface's rectangle at its height, water a translucent blue that shows the bottom through it, lava a glowing crust that crawls (lava-view.ts). The ground higher than the surface shows through on its own (the sheet is under it), so a lake's sheet can be a rectangle round its basin.
