The kit's surfaces and small parts, styled by the theme (kit.css): a Card (an elevated surface, a selected one outlined in the primary), a Chip (a choice to click, or a tag), a Badge (a status in a word, in a tone), an Alert (a banner that says why something is closed or went wrong), a Progress bar (part of a budget), an EmptyState, a Skeleton while a list loads, a Spinner while something works, and a Tooltip (shown under the pointer and on focus, described to screen readers). Any other prop goes on the element itself.
