The studio's edits of an element's points, one at a time: a road's, a river's or an outline's points in order (verticesOf: a road's start, the points it runs through, its end), one deleted, one inserted on a segment between two (the map's midpoint handles), and a road cut at a segment into the two roads either side of it (cutSegment: a stretch of a curve removed). Each is a pure function from a spec to the next, undefined when the element would be left with too few points (a road or a river two, an outline three).
