apps/client/src/renderer/spike-strip
A spike strip as the police throw it across a road: a chain of scissor links (bars crossed in an X, as an accordion strip folds out) with a steel spike up at each joint, as long as the snapshot says it is now, so it grows across the road as it unrolls and shrinks as it is reeled in. Every link of every strip is an instance of one link mesh and one spikes mesh made once, so a strip costs no draw calls of its own.
