The city's static map, drawn once per level into an offscreen canvas: the ground lighter the higher it stands, the districts tinted by their themes and titled, the roads along their centre lines, the footprints of the buildings, structures and props in their colours, the nail strips, the game's restricted zones and race gates. The minimap (Minimap.tsx) draws it under its markers; the phone's map (gui/phone-blocks.ts) shows it as a picture. It knows nothing of React.
