apps/client/src/renderer/mouse

The mouse over the canvas: where the pointer is (for aiming), whether the left button is down (the trigger), the right button's toggle (popped up out of cover or hidden) and the wheel's steps (which target on the line of fire). Only presses and wheel turns on the canvas itself count, so a click or a scroll on the overlay (the legend, the minimap) is never a shot or a target change; nor do they over a panel of the in-game UI drawn on the canvas (the phone, the inventory strip, a container's panel: the onUi test), where the pointer does not aim either (the aim holds where it was). The pointer is tracked and the trigger released wherever the pointer is, so a drag that ends over the overlay still lets go.
